Pyramid ISA 2006 The Value Server SEC protects networks with firewall, proxy, and VPN functionality. ISA Server 2006 provides security for corporate applications invoked through the Internet by pre-authorized users before they are granted access to servers reachable over the Internet.

Automatic publishing tools are provided, and even data traffic encrypted at the application level is subjected to stateful inspection. The secure extension of corporate networks is enabled through HTTP compression, content caching including software updates, and point-to-point VPN capabilities integrated in the application layer filter.
