Securing DirectAccess
Microsoft DirectAccess is a remote access technology built into Microsoft Windows 7. In the standard implementation however it can only use soft certificates as added authentication or the possibility to put the certificate on a Smartcard.
PointSharp Secure Client Access adds support for One-Time Password in DirectAccess by integrating directly in the Network Access Protection (NAP) layer. Integrating with NAP makes it easy to implement for those who already have NAP in place as well as giving OTP support to other scenarios where NAP can be used.
Technology
PointSharp Secure DirectAccess which is part of our add-on Secure Client Access, adds strong authentication to the NAP architecture by integrating in the server components and deploying a client. The client is easy distributed via GPO.
