Automated access in Identity Directory

Automating identity management and access rights gets even more powerful in Pointsharp Identity Directory 2.3 and the new feature Dynamic Groups.  

It automatically assigns users to groups based on any attribute roles. Then it can automatically grant users access based on their group permissions. If an employee changes roles or leaves the organization, a simple role update automatically removes them from the appropriate group and revokes access.

In addition to these powerful automation features, Identity Directory also adds support for tables in dynamic fields and in-context group descriptions. Two features that make identity management easier on a daily basis. With tables in dynamic fields, you can populate dynamic fields with entire tables instead of just one variable. It enables one field to contain the user's entire inventory list, for example. Group descriptions are a small quality-of-life update that let you set group descriptions for easier identification.

This makes it much easier to get started with identity automation, enabling your HR system to be the primary source of information without requiring additional administrative work.

This release also adds support for nested group memberships, such as those found in Active Directory, further expanding your synchronization options.
